WordPress Developer (Divi & Bricks Builder)

About the role

An engineering team is looking for an experienced WordPress developer to build, customize and maintain high-performance WordPress websites for international clients. The position is based in Karachi or Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan, and requires mandatory availability during EST time zone hours. Candidates must have hands-on experience with both Divi Builder and Bricks Builder.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize and maintain WordPress websites and web applications.
• Build responsive sites using Divi Builder and Bricks Builder, including custom layouts, templates, reusable components and dynamic content.
• Convert Figma/PSD designs into pixel-accurate, responsive sites.
• Customize existing themes and develop custom themes and plugins.
• Optimize site speed, Core Web Vitals, SEO and performance.
• Develop and customize WooCommerce, including product pages, checkout flows and payment gateway integrations.
• Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs and external services.
• Ensure security, backups, maintainability and version control; troubleshoot bugs and performance issues.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers and project managers, and communicate with USA-based clients during working hours.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Mandatory availability during EST time zone hours.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently, manage time and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience with USA-based clients or international teams is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on WordPress development, customization and maintenance.
• Expertise in both Divi Builder and Bricks Builder.
• PHP (including OOP), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery.
• WooCommerce development and MySQL with query optimization.
• WordPress REST API, Git and collaborative workflows.
• WordPress security, backups and updates; familiarity with Elementor or WPBakery is an advantage.
