Accounting Specialist – Full‑time (On‑site/Hybrid)

About the role

RS Bookkeepers is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join its Islamabad office. The role is full‑time, primarily on‑site with occasional remote days, and operates on a 4 PM‑2 AM shift. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial statements and supporting the firm’s small‑ and medium‑sized business clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Record, post, and reconcile journal entries using accounting software.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support strategic decisions.
• Maintain accuracy of all financial records and ensure compliance.
• Independently manage client accounts, including month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Assist in the implementation of financial strategies for client growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are a plus.
