Accounts Executive

About the role

Hightech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., an IT and services firm, is looking for an experienced Accounts Executive to support finance operations across its Lahore and Rawalpindi locations. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with project leads, HR, and external vendors to ensure accurate financial processing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger entries, perform bank reconciliations, and post journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments, and inter‑company transactions.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, manage vendor invoices, reconcile statements, and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, generate periodic financial reports, and assist with variance analysis.
• Provide documentation for audits and tax filings, and ensure compliance with local taxation rules and internal controls.
• Assist payroll accounting by reconciling payroll‑related accounts and handling statutory deposits.
• Contribute to budgeting, cash‑flow monitoring, and basic financial forecasting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with solid knowledge of IFRS or PK GAAP.
• Hands‑on experience in general ledger operations, month‑end close, and vendor management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or equivalent; ACCA‑CAT, CA (part‑qualified) or similar certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Tally or ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills – pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas.
