Accounts Officer – Accounting & Inventory Management

About the role

The Accounts Officer will support the finance team by handling tax compliance, managing inventory records, overseeing day‑to‑day accounting activities and operating the point‑of‑sale system. This full‑time, on‑site position offers the chance to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process and manage Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) filings and tax compliance.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with warehouse staff.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
• Operate and reconcile transactions through the POS system.
• Prepare financial statements, reports and assist with budgeting.
• Ensure adherence to local accounting regulations and tax laws.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of proven experience in accounting or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA or CMA) preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using POS systems.
