Assistant Key Account Manager – Modern Trade

About the role

The Assistant Key Account Manager – Modern Trade will be responsible for delivering business targets and managing the assigned modern‑trade account for Unilever in Islamabad. The role involves developing joint business plans with the customer, negotiating commercial agreements and ensuring profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with the modern‑trade customer.
• Negotiate, agree and execute fair trading terms and commercial contracts.
• Create, execute and monitor joint business plans to meet profitability targets.
• Drive category plans, launches, promotions and merchandising standards in‑store.
• Lead forecasting, stock replenishment coordination and resolve operational issues.
• Analyse competition, make tactical decisions and adjust strategies to protect market share.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
• 2‑5 years of sales experience, preferably in account or key‑account management.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with P&L data.
• Proven negotiation skills in complex commercial environments.
