Assistant Manager – Commercial (Pharma Procurement)

About the role

Siza Internationals Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Manager – Commercial to lead international sourcing and procurement of APIs, finished dosage forms, excipients and packaging materials. The role works closely with the Procurement/Commercial lead and cross‑functional teams to ensure compliant, cost‑effective and timely supply of pharmaceutical products.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and develop international suppliers and manufacturers for APIs, finished pharmaceutical products, excipients and packaging materials.
• Source pharmaceutical products from overseas markets in line with commercial and strategic objectives.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, MOQs, lead times, payment terms and supply agreements.
• Build and maintain relationships with international manufacturers, exporters and distributors.
• Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs and Quality to ensure compliance with DRAP and international regulations.
• Conduct market intelligence, track global pricing trends and assess supplier capabilities.
• Evaluate supplier performance on quality and delivery and manage ongoing performance.

Required profile

• 5 to 7 years of international sourcing/procurement experience in pharmaceuticals or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, finished dosage forms, excipients and packaging materials sourcing.
• Proven experience negotiating international commercial terms, MOQs, lead times and supply agreements.
• Familiarity with DRAP regulations and international regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical imports.
• Experience in supplier evaluation, performance management and quality oversight.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
