Assistant Manager Infrastructure Planning

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead the design and planning of data‑center infrastructure components, including HVAC, power, fire‑suppression and DCIM systems. The role will support both new builds and expansion projects, ensuring technical specifications, BOQs and contracts meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AutoCAD layouts and single‑line diagrams (SLD) for data‑center sites.
• Plan and size infrastructure nodes for nationwide core locations and data‑centers, covering HVAC, power (DC/AC), generators, switchgear, transformers, battery banks and fire‑suppression systems.
• Prepare RFPs, evaluate vendor proposals and create technical specifications, BOQs, SLAs and contract documents.
• Analyse space, cooling and power utilisation to trigger timely expansions.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure on‑time delivery of infrastructure works.
• Identify project dependencies, manage critical paths and mitigate scope changes with contingency plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum).
• At least 3 years of experience designing data‑center infrastructure components.
• Strong communication, presentation and vendor‑management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and deliver results in a team environment.

Required skills

• AutoCAD design.
