Associate Software Engineer (Entry Level)

About the role

Qbatch is looking for an enthusiastic Associate Software Engineer to join its development team. You will help design, build, test, and maintain scalable software solutions that improve customer experience and drive product adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Follow the full software development life cycle from analysis to deployment.
• Write clean, documented code that adheres to coding standards.
• Develop and integrate components into a functional system.
• Create and execute unit and integration test plans.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and update live applications.
• Incorporate user feedback to improve system stability.
• Collaborate with analysts, designers, and fellow developers.
• Prepare technical training documents for onboarding new engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduates from FAST, PUCIT, UET or similar institutions are encouraged to apply.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Understanding of OOP concepts, persistence, and threading.
• Experience with SQL databases (NoSQL a plus).
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with web and mobile application development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Python (any is a plus).
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud (plus).
