B2B Sales Intern (Sustainability Startup)

About the role

Green Upshot, a sustainability startup incubated at NIC Lahore, is looking for a B2B Sales Intern to help expand its eco‑friendly product portfolio across Pakistan. The intern will work on‑site in Lahore, supporting the sales team with lead generation, outreach, and pilot partnership execution. You will receive mentorship from the founders and experienced sales professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound lead generation and cold outreach to retailers, hotels, offices, and corporate procurement teams nationwide.
• Qualify inbound leads, maintain accurate CRM records with contact details, conversation notes, and next steps.
• Prepare tailored proposals, pricing sheets, and pilot program briefs for prospective B2B partners.
• Coordinate meetings, product presentations, and sample deliveries between internal teams and client contacts.
• Track sales metrics, compile simple analysis, and assist in reporting.
• Support sample logistics and calendar coordination for outreach sequences.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication in English and Urdu.
• Confident on phone and video calls with basic sales techniques (prospecting, qualification, objection handling, follow‑up).
• Ability to research market, map companies, and profile prospects using LinkedIn or business directories.
• Organized, able to manage multiple outreach sequences and logistics.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating outreach approaches in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Zoho.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data compilation and simple analysis.
• Ability to use LinkedIn for lead generation and company profiling.
