Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive growth by prospecting for email marketing solutions, conducting cold calls, and managing the full sales cycle. This role involves representing Sofcom at events, delivering demos, and collaborating with management to refine sales collateral.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate leads for email marketing solutions.
• Conduct cold calls, set appointments, and qualify prospects based on budget and decision criteria.
• Deliver product demos, both live and web‑based, to qualified clients.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting through closing, including quotes, RFIs, and RFPs.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
• Record all sales activities in the company CRM.
• Participate in business development team meetings and product training sessions.
• Coordinate with management to improve sales presentations and collateral.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent B2B technology sales experience.
• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales, business development or partnership management experience, preferably in software/technology.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and work on‑site in Lahore, morning shift.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software for documenting sales activities.
• Experience using market research and lead generation tools.
