Category Procurement Expert – Build-to-Suit (B2S) & Site Energy

About the role

The Category Procurement Expert – Build‑to‑Suit (B2S) & Site Energy owns the category strategy and commercial ownership for site infrastructure and the full site energy stack. Reporting to the Stream Head Network Procurement, this individual contributor works alongside peers covering power and passive domains to drive cost‑effective solutions for B2S sites.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the Passive Infrastructure & Site Energy procurement category for B2S sites, including fuel, power, colocation, solar and rental/lease elements.
• Develop and apply site load and grid classification frameworks (Good Grid, Poor Grid, Bad Grid, Semi‑Off Grid, Off‑Grid) to support cost modelling and strategy.
• Lead commercial evaluation and negotiation of fuel rates, colocation premiums, solar fee structures and provisioning fees.
• Negotiate Commercial Power, Diesel Generator and rental DG arrangements to secure reliable power solutions.
• Analyse rental and lease fee structures, escalation clauses and lease terms, and finalise commercial agreements.
• Drive total cost of ownership and financial impact analysis for sourcing decisions and cost optimisation.
• Lead cross‑functional procurement delivery for Power and Rollout projects, coordinating with Network, Rollout, Finance and site infrastructure teams.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with tower companies and site infrastructure suppliers.
• Ensure all category activities comply with JazzWorld procurement policies, delegated authorities and governance standards.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.

Required profile

• Individual contributor role reporting to the Stream Head Network Procurement.
• Experience collaborating with Network, Rollout, Finance and site operations teams.
• Responsibility for delivering compliant sourcing support for project milestones.
