CNC Milling Machine Operator / Setter (DAE Mechanical)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machine Operator / Setter to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will operate and set up CNC vertical machining centers and milling machines, ensuring high‑quality production in line with engineering specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, load, edit, and run CNC programs (G‑Code & M‑Code) on vertical machining centers.
• Perform tool setting, tool offset, and work offset adjustments.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
• Monitor machining operations, conduct first‑piece and in‑process inspections, and verify dimensional accuracy.
• Troubleshoot minor machine and tooling issues and carry out basic maintenance.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards and production tolerances.

Required profile

• DAE Mechanical qualification.
• Experience operating CNC vertical machining centers or CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and GD&T.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of cutting parameters, feeds, and speeds.
• Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
