Construction Site Store In-Charge

About the role

Din Developments is looking for a Construction Site Store In‑Charge to manage client‑supplied materials on the Elevate by Din Civic Centre project in Lake City, Lahore. The role is full‑time, site‑resident with on‑site accommodation and a three‑month probation period.

Key responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, verify quantity, brand, grade and condition against challans before off‑loading.
• Reject non‑conforming items and promptly inform the Resident Engineer.
• Prepare a Goods Received Note for each delivery and issue materials only against written, approved requisitions.
• Maintain a daily stock ledger showing opening, received, issued and closing balances.
• Conduct physical counts – cement daily, steel weekly, other materials monthly – reconcile variances and report them in writing.
• Store cement, steel and other items according to manufacturer requirements and apply proper stock rotation.
• Safeguard challans, mill test certificates, batch records and store access logs.
• Submit weekly consumption statements.

Required profile

• Practical experience in construction‑site storekeeping and control of client‑supplied materials.
• Knowledge of steel diameters, weights, cement brands and grades.
• Ability to produce accurate GRNs, issue notes, ledgers and perform stock‑count reconciliations.
• Strong written record‑keeping and communication skills.
• Fluent in Urdu and able to read English challans and test certificates.
