Data Scientist – Python (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Scientist with strong Python expertise to join a global technology leader on a full‑time remote basis. The role focuses on developing, training, and optimizing AI models, as well as evaluating their performance against defined benchmarks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality Python code for AI model training and optimization.
• Conduct systematic evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyse results for continuous improvement.
• Rank AI model responses to user queries across diverse domains, ensuring alignment with predefined criteria.
• Produce clear explanations and rationales for evaluations, demonstrating strong technical reasoning.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning efforts, including creation and maintenance of task‑specific datasets.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
• Solid experience with data‑science and machine‑learning techniques.
• Ability to extract insights from public databases and translate them into actionable findings.
• Strong debugging skills and the capacity to produce thorough technical documentation.
• Excellent written communication, especially in Jupyter notebooks or similar formats.
