Director of Vendor Program Management (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is building an AI‑powered education model that delivers a full day of academic progress in just two hours. The company needs a senior operator to own the execution layer, ensuring that vendor initiatives, contracts, and investments stay synchronized and trustworthy for executive decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Own portfolio‑level dashboards for 10+ concurrent initiatives, using AI to standardise updates, detect slippage, expose blockers and provide a trusted executive view of delivery, budget and risk.
• Run recurring vendor performance reviews and maintain rubric‑based scorecards that combine delivery, quality, cost, contractual commitments and qualitative performance signals.
• Lead competitive technology‑vendor procurement, creating structured bid packages, normalised comparisons, scoring rubrics, statements of work and evidence‑backed recommendations.
• Govern contracts and invoices by tracking fee caps, milestones, acceptance criteria and amendments, and validate invoices against signed terms before spend is approved.
• Use AI daily to analyse portfolio data, surface anomalies, draft decision‑ready outputs and reduce manual PMO administration.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex vendor programs and multi‑project portfolios at a senior or director level.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable executive insights.
• Comfort operating in fast‑moving AI‑driven environments and delivering high‑impact outcomes.
