Executive Power Operations Engineer – Faisalabad

About the role

PTCL Group is seeking an Executive Power Operations professional to lead the setup and maintenance of power plants supporting core PTCL sites in the Sargodha and Jhang road areas, including the high‑revenue commercial hub of Faisalabad. The role ensures continuous power availability for critical telecom infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate power plants (DG sets, rectifiers, batteries, AC units, solar systems, transformers) for main PTCL Tier‑2 sites.
• Provide uninterrupted 24/7 commercial power, DG backup, and DC backup to all installations.
• Perform fuel topping of operational DGs and prepare MF reports.
• Monitor network, coordinate with NMS/NOC teams, conduct fault analysis, troubleshooting and rectification.
• Execute preventive maintenance of power plant equipment and access network.
• Maintain AC units for indoor network elements.
• Manage power protection arrangements (earthing, switching protection devices) and coordinate health checks with QA.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Telecommunication, Electronics or related engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in power plant operation or telecom power systems.
• Technical savviness with strong switching and power‑plant knowledge.
