Finance Accountant – Islamabad/Rawalpindi (Twin Cities)

About the role

London School of Science & Technology (UK) is seeking an experienced Finance Accountant to join its Islamabad Support & Liaison Office. The role focuses on managing financial records for UK and international clients while ensuring compliance with local and UK accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and process invoices, fee collections, and reimbursements.
• Handle payroll accounting and post related journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations, month‑end closing, and general ledger management.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and audit‑ready documentation.
• Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and statutory requirements.
• Work across multiple ERP platforms such as Sage, Xero, Odoo, and advanced Microsoft Excel.

Required profile

• Qualified or finalist of ACCA, CA, ICAP, ICAEW, CPA, CIMA, or CFA.
• 5–10 years of finance, accounting, audit, or tax experience.
• Proven exposure to UK‑based or international clients.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounts operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
