Financial Compliance Manager (School & Resort)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Compliance Manager to oversee financial operations for both a school and a resort. The role ensures strict internal controls, accurate bookkeeping, and full regulatory compliance across the dual facilities. The manager will lead a team of ten finance professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations and maintain accurate bookkeeping for both facilities.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare, analyze and present financial reports, budgets and forecasts to support strategic decisions.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of findings.
• Lead, train and evaluate a finance team of ten staff members.
• Manage cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
• Use advanced MS Excel functions and QuickBooks to streamline financial data management.
• Monitor budget performance, analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
