About the role
The Front Desk Coordinator will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, handling phone inquiries and ensuring a welcoming experience. This full‑time remote position supports US healthcare operations by scheduling appointments, performing receptionist duties, and carrying out administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls, providing prompt and professional assistance.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain the front‑desk calendar.
- Perform receptionist duties, including greeting virtual visitors and handling inquiries.
- Execute administrative tasks to support daily team operations.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years experience in a US healthcare front‑desk or medical receptionist role.
- Familiarity with US insurance payers such as Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work US business hours (EST/PST).
- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT/ICD‑10 codes is a plus.
Required skills
- Experience with EHR/EMR platforms: AdvancedMD, Athenahealth, Kareo, or Epic.
