Full-Stack Software Engineer – Remote Contract (Pakistan)

About the role

Karat is looking for experienced full‑stack or backend‑focused engineers to join its Interview Engineer Community on a contract basis. This remote position involves facilitating technical interviews, evaluating candidate performance, and collaborating on interview content and platform improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate technical interviews through Karat’s platform, ensuring a smooth and inclusive candidate experience.
• Assess candidates on coding ability, problem‑solving approach, communication, and overall technical knowledge.
• Provide detailed feedback and performance summaries to hiring teams.
• Partner with Karat to test and refine interview content, processes, and product features.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience as a full‑stack or backend software developer.
• Excellent written and spoken English with professional communication skills.
• Reliable webcam, microphone, and stable high‑speed internet connection.
• Prior experience conducting technical interviews or strong familiarity with data structures and algorithms is preferred.
