About the role
This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Islamabad at a Chinese‑cuisine restaurant. You will support the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, assisting with basic cooking tasks, and keeping the work area clean and organized.
Key responsibilities
- Handle and prep ingredients according to Chinese recipes.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cooking and service duties during busy periods.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Keep the kitchen and workstations tidy and well‑stocked.
- Follow supervisors’ instructions and communicate clearly with teammates.
Required profile
- Willingness to learn Chinese cooking techniques and follow recipes.
- Basic understanding of food safety and restaurant hygiene.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer‑focused attitude.
- Reliability in scheduling, time management, and working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/move supplies.
