Global Procurement Governance & Compliance Lead

About the role

The Global Procurement Governance and Compliance Lead will join our centralized procurement department to ensure that procurement policies are consistent with regulations across all locations. This senior position drives the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of SOPs, manages a Center of Excellence, and leads the digitization of procurement services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the governance and compliance team, ensuring global adherence to procurement policies and regulations.
• Review, update, and harmonize procurement policies with local and global regulatory requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate comprehensive SOPs for all procurement activities.
• Design and deliver training programs on governance, compliance, and SOP usage.
• Identify compliance risks, conduct audits, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and regional procurement teams to ensure cohesive governance.
• Establish and manage a Center of Excellence to disseminate best‑practice guidelines.
• Lead the digitization of procurement services, integrating digital tools with existing systems.
