Group CFO – Corporate Transformation, Tax & Finance

About the role

Naheed Group is looking for an experienced, transformation‑focused Group Chief Financial Officer to steer finance, taxation, treasury, corporate restructuring and financial governance across its diversified businesses. The role will lead the corporate transformation of Naheed Super Market while building a unified yet legally segregated financial framework for retail, pharmacy, e‑commerce, manufacturing, imports, distribution and food‑service operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Group‑wide chart of accounts, financial policies and reporting structure.
• Lead legal‑entity conversion, opening‑balance migration and redesign of financial processes.
• Establish controls for cash, registered, unregistered and inter‑company transactions.
• Integrate FBR online invoicing across all applicable companies and business units.
• Oversee taxation, statutory compliance, treasury, audits and monthly financial reporting.
• Manage banking facilities, cash‑flow planning and borrowing‑cost optimisation.
• Build, restructure and develop the Group’s Finance, Accounts, Tax and Audit teams.
• Provide weekly cash movement, funding requirement and working‑capital reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA/FCA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce; MBA or Master’s in Finance is a plus.
• 12–18 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a CFO, Finance Director or Group Head of Finance role.
• Proven experience managing multiple legal entities and business units.
• Strong exposure to retail, FMCG, manufacturing, imports, distribution or e‑commerce sectors.
• Practical knowledge of Pakistan taxation, FBR integration, banking facilities and corporate restructuring.
• Demonstrated success in building finance teams, implementing internal controls and leading ERP or finance‑transformation projects.
