Head of Trade Marketing

About the role

The Head of Trade Marketing will translate brand strategy into impactful market execution across pharmacies, clinics, hospitals, modern trade, and emerging channels. This senior leader will drive demand generation, channel performance, and commercial excellence for a nutrition portfolio that includes supplements, pediatric nutrition, and wellness products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement channel‑specific trade strategies for pharmacy, hospitals, clinics, e‑commerce and modern trade.
• Define and execute go‑to‑market plans, identifying growth opportunities in prescription‑driven and OTC retail channels.
• Translate brand strategies into trade activation calendars, in‑store campaigns, and seasonal initiatives.
• Create trade tools, detailing aids, pharmacy engagement kits and merchandising guidelines for sales and medical teams.
• Design pharmacist and modern‑trade engagement programmes, loyalty and education initiatives.
• Support pack‑price architecture, manage trade margins, promotional schemes and bundling initiatives.
• Design and monitor trade promotions, ensuring ROI and sustainable sell‑out growth.
• Define in‑store merchandising standards, planograms and brand visibility assets.
• Track commercial KPIs such as sales vs target, distribution, off‑take, shelf share and visibility scores.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs and Supply Chain to align commercial execution.
• Lead go‑to‑market execution for new product launches.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading trade‑marketing functions for consumer‑health or nutrition brands.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy, hospital, modern‑trade and e‑commerce channels.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute GTM strategies and trade activation plans.
• Excellent analytical mindset with experience monitoring trade KPIs and ROI.
• Effective cross‑functional collaborator with sales, marketing, medical and supply‑chain teams.
