HSEQ Manager – Health, Safety, Environment & Quality

About the role

The HSEQ Manager will lead the development, implementation and enforcement of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards across transport operations in Karachi. This role ensures a safe, compliant and continuously improving working environment for drivers and fleet assets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive HSEQ policies aligned with regulatory and company requirements.
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments and corrective action follow‑up across all transport activities.
• Plan and deliver targeted health and safety training programmes for staff and drivers.
• Manage driver safety and behaviour programmes to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Oversee vehicle inspection programmes to guarantee fleet compliance with HSEQ standards.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date reporting and documentation for local regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate emergency response planning and drills.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities for HSEQ processes.
• Prepare regular HSEQ performance reports for management and regulators.

Required profile

• Recognised HSEQ certification such as IOSH, OSHA or NEBOSH.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in transport or logistics HSEQ roles.
• Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and international best practices.
• Proven ability to conduct audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Excellent coordination skills across multiple departments.
