Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. You will work independently on a high‑volume transactional finance function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform process activities based on received guidelines and internal policies.
• Check expenses and post purchase/sales documents such as invoices, pro‑forma invoices, credit notes, and payment requests.
• Resolve unposted expenses or invoices and perform periodic controls of posted transactions.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders following company standards for customer service.
• Support the development and implementation of new solutions.
• Work with the company’s internal accounting systems.

Required profile

• ACCA affiliate or equivalent qualification in Accounting/Business Administration.
• 1–1.5 years of experience in a Canadian outsourced accounting firm.
• Very good command of English.
• Open‑minded, receptive to change, with excellent attention to detail.
• Drive to improve processes and challenge the status quo.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experienced user of QuickBooks or Xero.
