Lead Corporate Communications

About the role

The Lead Corporate Communications role drives internal engagement and external communications, amplifying social impact initiatives and advancing financial literacy across communities. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, the role collaborates across departments and with external partners to design impactful communication strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver internal communication campaigns, newsletters and updates to keep employees informed and aligned with social impact and financial literacy goals.
• Design and execute proactive media outreach strategies, building relationships with journalists, analysts and key opinion leaders to shape external narratives.
• Storytelling of social impact initiatives, highlighting financial inclusion, digital access and community development across internal and external channels.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to promote financial education programmes, ensuring clear and accessible messaging.
• Support community and stakeholder partnerships, coordinating communications that reinforce the company’s role as a responsible corporate citizen.
• Position the organization as a thought leader in digital inclusion and financial empowerment through conferences, forums and industry events.
• Monitor emerging issues, develop crisis response plans and safeguard brand reputation.
• Create multimedia content such as videos, graphics, presentations, press releases and articles to bring the social purpose to life.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate communications, public relations or media relations.
• Strong understanding of social impact, financial literacy and digital inclusion themes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft compelling narratives.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
• Experience in managing crisis communications and protecting brand reputation.
