Lead Energy Auditor – North Region

About the role

The Lead Energy Auditor will head ASHRAE Level I & II energy audit projects for industrial and commercial facilities in the northern region. You will conduct on‑site surveys, collect measurements, and deliver actionable recommendations to improve energy efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive ASHRAE Level I & II energy audits covering HVAC, chillers, motors, pumps, compressors, boilers, steam and lighting systems.
• Gather field data, conduct thermographic inspections, and use ultrasonic equipment for compressed‑air leak detection.
• Analyse chiller performance, calculate COP, assess motor efficiency with Fluke 1777, and audit steam traps.
• Prepare detailed technical audit reports and cost‑benefit analyses using RETScreen.
• Support proposal development, client engagement and revenue generation for energy‑efficiency consulting services.
• Maintain technical competency, ensure timely delivery of audits, and mentor junior resources during site execution.
• Comply with HSE policies, keep work areas safe, and report hazards promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in energy auditing, HVAC, or industrial energy optimization.
• Training in ASHRAE Level I & II, thermography, compressed‑air leak detection, steam‑trap auditing, motor efficiency assessment, and chiller performance analysis.
