Manager Network Security

About the role

The Manager – Network Security will design, implement and maintain a secure network infrastructure for easypaisa, Pakistan’s first digital bank. You will protect critical systems and data from internal and external threats while ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, SD‑WAN, load balancers and web application firewalls (WAF).
• Oversee network monitoring, incident response, threat management and SIEM alerts.
• Ensure compliance with SBP cybersecurity guidelines, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS.
• Lead vulnerability assessments, remediation, patch management and configuration audits.
• Maintain network segmentation, NAC, DDoS protection and authentication infrastructure.
• Administer multi‑vendor equipment (Cisco, Huawei, Sophos, BIG‑IP, etc.) and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
• Develop and update network security policies, procedures and configuration baselines.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure, IS and compliance teams on security projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering.
• 6‑8 years of hands‑on experience in network security and WAN/LAN design.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience leading security initiatives and managing vendor relationships.
