Market Research Expert (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a Market Research Subject Matter Expert to work remotely on an hourly contract basis. You will evaluate AI‑generated market research outputs, create gold‑standard deliverables, and provide precise written feedback to improve the quality of AI‑driven research.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed prompts and gold‑standard market research artifacts such as research plans, briefs, survey instruments, insight summaries, and competitor scans.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses, focusing on methodological rigor, clarity, and practical usefulness.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, biased framing, misleading claims, and improper evidence use across industries.
• Validate reliability of AI‑generated insights, ensuring adherence to research design, sampling logic, and sizing methodology.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in market research, consumer insights, strategy, or analytics (agency, consulting, or in‑house).
• Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including interviews, focus groups, surveys, and basic experimental design.
• Proven ability to create and critique research instruments, question wording, scales, and survey flow.
• Exceptional attention to detail for spotting flawed methodology, overconfident conclusions, and hallucinated data.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency and reliable, self‑directed work habits.
