MEP Draftsman – Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Design

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Draftsman to join our Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing team in Lahore. The role involves producing coordinated construction drawings, supporting design documentation, and ensuring compliance with local codes and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D CAD drawings for mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems using company standards.
• Produce HVAC ducting and piping layouts, equipment schedules, and panel/lighting plans.
• Create isometrics, riser diagrams, schematics and annotated shop drawings for contractors.
• Coordinate drawings with architects, structural engineers and other disciplines to avoid clashes.
• Incorporate engineer mark‑ups, follow revision control and maintain proper file management.
• Respond to design queries from site teams and contractors promptly.

Required profile

• Proven ability to produce detailed 2D CAD drawings for MEP systems.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing and electrical layout principles.
• Strong attention to drafting standards, layer management and title block usage.
• Good communication skills and ability to interpret sketches and engineer notes.
