Patient Care Coordinator – US Mental Health

About the role

Advanced Practice Solutions (APS) is looking for a detail‑oriented Patient Care Coordinator to support U.S.-based mental health practices. You will act as a liaison between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring a smooth, compassionate care journey while working from a hybrid office in Islamabad.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate appointments across provider calendars.
• Conduct patient follow‑ups and outreach to maintain continuity of care.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage for mental health services.
• Assist with medication workflows, including pharmacy communication and follow‑ups.
• Handle documentation, billing tasks, and accurate entry of interactions in the EMR system.
• Manage inbound and outbound patient communications with professionalism and empathy.

Required profile

• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Background in healthcare, psychology, medicine, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Experience with U.S. mental health or healthcare operations, especially scheduling, insurance verification, or care coordination.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD, CPT, and HIPAA‑compliant data handling.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, process‑driven environment.
