PHP Full Stack Developer (WordPress & Shopify)

About the role

We are seeking a PHP Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in WordPress and Shopify to join our client’s offshore office in Johar Town, Lahore. The role involves building and maintaining dynamic, database‑driven web applications and e‑commerce sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and support PHP/MySQL applications, WordPress themes/plugins, and Shopify integrations.
• Implement responsive front‑end interfaces using Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript, and React.
• Consume and create RESTful APIs, AJAX, JSON, and XML services.
• Maintain version control using Git, Mercurial, CVS or SVN.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure code quality, scalability, and performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of commercial PHP development experience.
• Strong command of English communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work onsite from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM, five days a week.
• Portfolio demonstrating WordPress, Shopify and custom front‑end projects.

Required skills

• Core PHP, OOP, and PHP frameworks.
• WordPress theme, plugin and widget development.
• Shopify API integration and WooCommerce extensions.
• Front‑end technologies: Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript, React, jQuery, SASS.
• Database: MySQL, NoSQL.
• Version control: Git (or Mercurial, CVS, SVN).
• AJAX, REST API, JSON, XML.
