Pre‑Sales Solution Engineer – PV Inverters (Lahore/Karachi)

About the role

Join a world‑leading renewable energy solutions provider as a Pre‑Sales Solution Engineer focused on string, distributed and hybrid PV inverter solutions for the Pakistan market. You will work closely with customers in Lahore or Karachi to design smart, efficient photovoltaic systems that meet their energy needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑sales technical support for PV inverter product lines.
• Design system solutions based on customer requirements, including inverter selection, system configuration and energy‑storage integration.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution presentations and bidding documents.
• Assist sales teams during customer meetings, product demonstrations and technical discussions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, system simulations and cost‑performance analyses.
• Coordinate with R&D, product and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and competitiveness.
• Monitor market trends, competitor offerings and evolving customer needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in PV system design, pre‑sales support or solution management.
• Strong knowledge of PV systems, including string inverters, distributed systems and hybrid/energy‑storage solutions.
• Familiarity with grid codes, standards and local regulations.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements.
