Procurement Associate (1–2 Years Experience)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Procurement Associate to support our end‑to‑end purchasing activities. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely, cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining compliance and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors, completing all documentation and compliance checks.
• Manage the full procurement cycle, including RFQs, quotation comparison, and purchase order creation.
• Maintain organized vendor databases and procurement records.
• Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill procurement needs accurately and on schedule.
• Review quotations, supplier terms, and contracts; negotiate optimal terms.
• Track purchase orders, monitor delivery timelines, and follow up with suppliers.
• Conduct market research and cost analysis to support decision‑making.
• Forecast demand based on consumption trends and project requirements.
• Prepare reports and ensure documentation meets audit and compliance standards.
• Create timely purchase orders for all branches and support the procure‑to‑pay process.
• Apply knowledge of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) models where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
• Familiarity with procurement software and strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Power BI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• High level of organization, time‑management, and documentation skills.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and ethical in vendor relationships.
