Product Manager – Supply Chain

About the role

The Product Manager – Supply Chain will design, launch and manage supply chain financing solutions that meet the working‑capital needs of suppliers, distributors and manufacturers. You will be responsible for both Shariah‑compliant and conventional products, driving portfolio growth while ensuring risk is properly managed.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch supply chain finance products such as invoice discounting, purchase order financing and distributor financing.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation and structuring to performance monitoring and continuous optimisation.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to uncover opportunities and gaps.
• Collaborate with Credit, Risk, IT and Operations teams to define underwriting criteria, digitise onboarding, limit management and disbursement processes.
• Lead onboarding of anchors, merchants, distributors and their networks to expand product reach.
• Monitor portfolio performance metrics including utilisation, delinquencies, turnaround time and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with State Bank of Pakistan regulations and, where applicable, Shariah‑compliant structures such as Murabaha and Salam.
• Train relationship managers and sales teams on product features, digital processes and risk parameters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management from an HEC‑recognised university.
• 5‑7 years of experience in product management, trade finance or supply chain finance within a bank or financial institution.
• Prior experience with anchor‑buyer programmes or invoice financing products.
• Familiarity with SBP regulations for trade and supply chain finance is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong Excel skills for portfolio MIS and performance tracking.
• Working knowledge of supply chain finance structures (invoice discounting, reverse factoring, distributor financing).
• Understanding of risk assessment for supplier ecosystems and anchor‑buyer models.
• Knowledge of SBP Prudential Regulations for trade finance.
