Project Manager – Maintenance Projects (Oil & Gas)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and direct the execution of maintenance, shutdown and retrofit projects within the oil and gas sector. The role involves managing project profitability, coordinating with clients, vendors and internal teams, and ensuring timely delivery of projects both in Pakistan and overseas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the smooth execution of maintenance and shutdown projects.
• Manage profit and loss for all assigned projects.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors and negotiate technical terms.
• Develop, train and manage shutdown managers and other project personnel.
• Coordinate and resolve conflicts among stakeholders to meet project timelines.
• Set project schedules, monitor deliverables and report progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Coach and support project team members in their assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical.
• Minimum 18 years of experience in oil and gas shutdowns and retrofit projects.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar project management position.
• Willingness to work in Pakistan and travel overseas as required.

• Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
• Excellent verbal, written and organizational communication skills.
