Regional Sales Manager – Channel (Pharma)

About the role
We are looking for a proactive, analytically‑driven Regional Sales Manager – Channel to monitor and control cross‑flows across Pakistan’s pharmaceutical market. The role focuses on ensuring compliance, transparency and accuracy of Abbott stock at the customer level, using data‑driven insights to safeguard legitimate sales practices and optimise channel performance.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct in‑depth analysis of secondary sales data to uncover trends, anomalies and opportunities, and share actionable insights with the Head of Channel.
- Execute field visits to validate flagged cases, collaborate with distributors for corrective actions, and present validated cases for closure.
- Identify unusual sales patterns by brick, area or city, verify sales invoices, and ensure compliance with stock level and IMS ratio policies.
- Detect and report cross‑flows, wholesale discount irregularities and competitor activities, and monitor institutional sales through invoice checks.
- Track wholesale stock counts for core products and maintain accurate WS/IMS ratios in line with company guidelines.
- Continuously analyze market trends, submit weekly updates on wholesale cut rates, city‑wise ratios and market intelligence reports.
- Work closely with sales, trade and cross‑functional teams to drive alignment, and build strong partnerships with distributors.
- Conduct distributor training sessions in collaboration with the Head of Channel to strengthen execution excellence.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Pharm‑D from a reputable institution.
- 3–5 years of experience in diversified pharmaceutical markets.
- Strong understanding of therapeutic areas and retail & wholesale market dynamics.
- Awareness of cut rates, pricing trends and regulatory requirements.
