Remote Angular Engineer (Hourly Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Angular Engineer to work on an hourly contract basis. You will review AI‑generated Angular code, evaluate frontend architectures, and create high‑quality reference implementations and step‑by‑step explanations for complex engineering problems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by writing detailed prompts and reference answers on Angular topics.
• Review and assess AI‑generated Angular code for correctness, clarity, accessibility, security, performance, and adherence to specifications.
• Identify and document issues in change detection, RxJS streams, state management, routing, forms, SSR, hydration, and bundle performance.
• Fact‑check technical information and produce clear, best‑practice explanations.
• Evaluate, rank, and compare multiple AI responses to improve model quality.
• Test AI models for inaccuracies or unsafe recommendations across real‑world use cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience building production web applications with Angular (Angular 12+ preferred; Angular 16/17+ a strong plus).
• Expert‑level proficiency in TypeScript and core Angular concepts (components, modules, DI, services, pipes, directives, guards, interceptors).
• Strong understanding of RxJS, including observables, operators, multicasting, error handling and cancellation.
• Deep knowledge of Angular performance optimisation (change detection strategies, OnPush, async pipe, zone.js, signals, trackBy, rendering).
• Experience with Angular routing, reactive forms, custom validators and form performance.
• Familiarity with Angular Universal/SSR, hydration, caching and security considerations.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jasmine/Karma, Jest, Angular Testing Library, Cypress or Playwright, as well as linting and CI/CD pipelines.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency (written and spoken).
