Remote HR Officer & Operations Specialist

About the role

Recruit AI is seeking a highly organized and empathetic professional to serve as a Remote HR Officer and Operations Specialist. The role covers the full employee lifecycle for roughly 50 staff members across multiple locations, ensuring compliance, smooth onboarding, and efficient day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Create and publish job advertisements on appropriate recruitment platforms.
• Conduct initial remote video interviews and screen candidates.
• Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and policy documents.
• Perform Right‑to‑Work checks and reference verification.
• Lead virtual onboarding and manage employee relations, including grievance handling.
• Track attendance, sick leave, tardiness and maintain accurate digital personnel files.
• Support payroll preparation by auditing timesheets and attendance records.
• Oversee logistics such as uniform distribution and inventory management.
• Coordinate mandatory training, monitor compliance and manage disciplinary processes.
• Conduct probation reviews, off‑boarding, exit interviews and return‑to‑work assessments.

Required profile

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential records.
• Self‑motivated with the capacity to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Experience handling HR processes for a mid‑size workforce is preferred.
