RTGS Executive – Treasury Operations

About the role

The RTGS Executive Treasury Operations role is responsible for managing daily treasury activities, ensuring that all RTGS transactions are processed accurately and on time. The position supports the treasury portfolio, settlement of deals, and compliance with regulatory and bank policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process RTGS transactions, verify beneficiary details, and ensure settlement in the core banking system.
• Maintain accurate transaction logs, reports, and GL entries for all treasury activities.
• Reconcile treasury‑related GL accounts and daily accruals, including profit on bank deposits, T‑Bills, and borrowings.
• Prepare daily CRR and SLR reports, funds transfer letters, and ensure timely payments to branches.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Treasury, Accounts) and external parties such as the State Bank of Pakistan for securities maturities.
• Update the investment register, perform month‑end revaluation of investments, and record related accounting entries.
• Support external auditors by providing treasury data and balance confirmations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field from a reputable institution.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in banking or fintech, preferably in back‑office treasury operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with core banking systems.
• Strong knowledge of GL coding, treasury reconciliation, and accounting entries.
