Senior Consultant – Finance Governance & FAAS

About the role

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join EY’s FAAS team in Karachi, supporting clients across the MENA market and delivering finance transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with managers and partners to plan, budget, execute and deliver FAAS engagements, ensuring compliance with EY Global Standards.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, including process design, operating model definition, and technology‑led solutions (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Gather client insights through meetings and interviews, develop clear work products, and benchmark performance against industry standards.
• Support proposal development, new service creation, and go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA qualification with 4‑8 years of relevant experience, including 3‑5 years in financial accounting advisory or consulting, preferably in a Big 4 firm.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and finance processes such as Record‑to‑Report, Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay, and Hire‑to‑Retire.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for client engagements.

Required skills

• SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or similar ERP platforms).
• Finance transformation project experience, including performance management, KPI definition and operating model design.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with solid accounting concepts.
