Senior DevOps Engineer – Remote

About the role

You will be the go‑to engineer for a portfolio of 50+ SaaS products, ensuring high availability and reliability across diverse, undocumented AWS environments. Using production‑grade Python or JavaScript and AI‑assisted tooling, you will automate remediation, create runbooks, and drive uptime beyond 99.9%.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex infrastructure migrations, consolidations, and production‑quality automations.
• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Diagnose production outages, deploy immediate remediation, and author root‑cause analyses with permanent fixes.
• Draft, review, and execute production changes, assessing safety and rollback criteria.
• Author runbooks, architect deployment pipelines (dev → staged → partial → full rollout), and block risky changes.
• Own infrastructure initiatives, incident response, and change requests across the product portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating a substantial SaaS product in AWS.
• Strong production‑grade coding ability in Python or JavaScript.
• Disciplined scope management and daily use of AI tooling for troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform real‑time root‑cause analysis (5‑Whys) and create durable automations.
