Senior FP&A Executive – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

Murkez Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Executive to lead budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for U.S.-based client portfolios in restaurant, franchise, retail and multi‑location businesses. The role sits within the Finance Delivery team and combines ownership of FP&A deliverables with people‑leadership responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of FP&A analysts and executives, overseeing workload allocation, capacity planning and delivery timelines.
• Own the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles for client portfolios, designing and maintaining financial models, long‑range plans and rolling forecasts.
• Build and review complex financial models, conduct variance analysis and provide insight‑driven explanations of revenue, COGS, operating expenses and store‑level performance.
• Produce monthly and periodic management reporting packages, dashboards and executive‑level presentations.
• Act as the senior finance point of contact for clients, leading budget and forecast review discussions and ensuring timely, defensible submissions.
• Support hiring, onboarding and training of new FP&A team members, creating SOPs, templates and knowledge documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior FP&A roles within restaurant, franchise or retail environments.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to drive forecast accuracy and deliver high‑quality financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to translate financial data into actionable insights for clients.
