Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

Zones, a global IT solutions provider, is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead its procurement function. You will manage the full purchase cycle, from order creation to invoicing, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services that meet client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute purchase orders with suppliers, aligning cost, quantity, and delivery objectives.
• Maintain comprehensive purchase order records and update daily back‑order reports for the sales team.
• Communicate supply issues to relevant departments and support the purchasing function.
• Target a minimum of 15% of orders older than 48 hours to have no ETA, unless constrained by the manufacturer.
• Act as liaison between suppliers and internal teams for new projects and initiatives.
• Resolve orders lacking an ETA after 72 hours with assistance from the sourcing team.
• Monitor and address risks or opportunities affecting organizational goals.
• Conduct cost analysis for existing and prospective expenditures.

• Ability to analyze complex procurement data and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accurate record‑keeping.
