Senior Project Manager – Commercial Mall Finishing & Fit‑Out

About the role

Arch Builders seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the finishing and fit‑out phase of large commercial mall projects of roughly 300,000 sq ft. The role involves overseeing quality, schedule, budget and safety while coordinating with architects, contractors and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise all finishing and fit‑out activities for a 300,000 sq ft mall.
• Lead a dedicated team of two professionals, providing direction, support and performance management.
• Manage construction schedules to ensure timely completion and minimise delays.
• Maintain strict quality control, ensuring finishes meet design specifications, safety codes and industry standards.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures, proposing adjustments to keep costs within limits.
• Conduct regular site inspections for workmanship, safety compliance and contractual adherence.
• Prepare detailed project reports, status updates and presentations for senior management and clients.
• Implement risk‑management strategies and ensure complete documentation for close‑out.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience managing finishing and fit‑out phases on large commercial mall projects.
• Graduate degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture; PEC registration preferred.
• Proven leadership ability to manage a small project team and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, quality focus and commitment to safety standards.
