Senior Shopify Developer – Onsite (Islamabad)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Shopify Developer to join Bright Byte’s Islamabad office. The role focuses on building high‑performance e‑commerce stores, customizing themes, and creating custom apps that scale with business growth. You will work closely with marketing and product teams to deliver seamless shopping experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and customize Shopify themes to match brand requirements.
• Build and maintain custom Shopify apps or plugins to extend platform functionality.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient development and deployment.
• Integrate analytics tools and use data insights to optimise store performance.
• Connect Shopify with third‑party services and APIs, including subscription platforms such as Recharge.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to launch campaigns and support growth initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on Shopify development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience working in an onsite environment.

Required skills

• Liquid templating language.
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Shopify APIs and integration techniques.
• CI/CD tools and workflows.
