Short-Form Video Assistant

About the role

TalentPop App is seeking a creative Short-Form Video Assistant to produce engaging TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts for leading eCommerce brands. This fully remote position allows you to work from home while collaborating with our creative and growth teams.

Key responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos using raw client footage and brand assets for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
• Collaborate with creative and growth teams to develop concepts, hooks, and messaging that align with brand goals.
• Source trending audio, captions, effects, and formats to keep content platform‑optimized.
• Repurpose long‑form content such as podcasts, webinars, or YouTube videos into bite‑sized clips.
• Maintain organized file storage, version control, and delivery timelines.
• Analyze video performance and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on short‑form trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience editing short‑form video content for digital platforms.
• Portfolio or reel demonstrating creativity, pacing, and awareness of viral trends.
• Strong sense of timing, storytelling, and visual composition.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and accept feedback with a growth mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
