Software Developer - Salesforce

About the role

S&P Global’s Commercial Technology team is looking for a Salesforce Developer to design, build, and optimise Salesforce solutions that support the company’s commercial operations worldwide. You will work closely with product owners, analysts and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact technology that drives growth and improves customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce and Lightning Components.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Integrate Salesforce with internal and external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
• Maintain and optimise existing Salesforce solutions for scalability, performance and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional and integration issues.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, data‑management best practices and security guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components).
• Lightning Flows, Validation Rules, Data Model design.
• Salesforce security features and best practices.
• REST and SOAP API integration.
• Middleware integration platforms.
• Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ (preferred).
