Supply Chain Purchase Order Fulfillment Specialist

About the role

The Supply Chain Purchase Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for managing open purchase orders from creation to delivery for assigned categories and brands. The role ensures timely fulfillment of both manual and EDI drop‑ship orders by coordinating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all open drop‑ship orders (manual & EDI) with vendors to ensure prompt fulfillment.
• Daily review of manual drop‑ship orders and backorders, expediting fulfillment and communicating changes to stakeholders.
• Daily review of EDI drop‑ship orders and backorders, expediting fulfillment and notifying relevant parties of any issues.
• Contact suppliers to obtain current ETA/ETS for open orders and update purchase orders accordingly.
• Respond to order‑status requests within established service‑level agreements.
• Maintain proficiency with primary vendors’ systems and interfaces and share knowledge with the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Supply Chain degree preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in an offshore/outsource model within a combined sales, operations, or supply‑chain function, preferably in the reseller hardware/software industry.
• General understanding of information‑technology products and terminology.

Required skills

• EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) handling.
